Harrow Sewage Lagoons – 2017 Birding Access Permit

The Ontario Clean Water Agency has granted permission for members in good standing of the Essex County Field Naturalists’ Club to access the Harrow Sewage Lagoons for observing migrating birds for the 2017 season.  To access the site, you must complete the form below to request a copy of the permit/waiver and the gate lock combination. When accessing the site, you are agreeing to the terms and rules outlined in the permit.  Remember, you are accessing the site AT YOUR OWN RISK. Detailed directions to the sewage lagoons will be provided with the copy of the permit/waiver which will be emailed to you.

Additional Rules:

  • Do not bring your vehicle inside of the gates.
  • Do not block the driveway. Make sure there is access left for both the lagoons and farm fields.
  • Be sure to lock the gate when finished.
